Breeze Delivery Consultant

 You’ll partner with local government customers to design and implement practical system solutions, guiding them to confidently adopt Breeze and achieve long-term value.

This role is about helping customers build best-practice financial planning and reporting frameworks that support annual planning, long-term planning, budgeting scenarios, and reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Guide customers through the implementation process, enabling them to configure and build their own financial models with confidence
  • Work closely with customers to understand their goals, asking insightful questions and translating their needs into practical system solutions
  • Design and implement best-practice planning and reporting frameworks that support customer internal and external requirements
  • Coach and mentor users throughout implementation, ensuring they understand both the how and the why
  • Facilitate workshops and business process discussions to identify improvements and support informed decision-making
  • Help customers understand how changes in one area of a financial model impact other areas, building confidence to manage ongoing updates independently
  • Deliver practical, hands-on training that builds capability and supports long-term ownership
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and constructive challenge to achieve the best outcomes
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams to resolve issues and improve system functionality and customer experience
  • Ensure solutions align with legislative requirements and industry best practice
  • Manage multiple customer engagements, maintaining high levels of quality, responsiveness, and support

About You

You’re naturally curious and quick to learn, with a strong ability to grasp complex concepts and connect the dots. You don’t just take requirements at face value, you ask questions, dig deeper, and seek to truly understand what the client is trying to achieve.

You bring a consultative mindset and enjoy working closely with customers, guiding them through change. You’re confident acting as both a trusted advisor and educator, helping clients understand not just what to do, but why it matters and how it impacts the bigger picture.

You’re comfortable working with financial models and data and can clearly explain how decisions in one area flow through and impact others. You understand what good looks like when it comes to financial planning and reporting frameworks, and you’re motivated to help customers build solutions that are structured, scalable, auditable, and aligned to best practice and compliance requirements.

You take pride in building client capability so they can confidently manage their own annual planning, long-term planning, budgeting, and statutory reporting processes over time.

You’re organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple implementations while maintaining strong attention to detail. You communicate clearly, build trust easily, and lead conversations that drive outcomes.

Ability to travel for client discovery and training workshops

You’ll likely bring

  • Experience delivering SaaS implementations, system configuration, or consulting-led project delivery
  • Experience in Local Government, and with the applicable legislative acts and IPSAS regulations
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience in financial data, modelling, budgeting, or forecasting
  • Experience designing and implementing best-practice, sustainable, auditable, and scalable financial planning and reporting processes that support annual planning, long-term planning, budget capture, and local government statutory reporting requirements (including AP and LTP)
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical system solutions
  • Proven experience managing client relationships from successful implementations to continuing support and assistance.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to both teach and assist others
  • A proactive, inquisitive approach, you ask “why” and look beyond the surface
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Nice to have
  • Relevant qualification in Finance, FinTech, or similar
  • Experience with Breeze or similar financial planning solutions
